A Study on Nursing Activities in Operating Room


Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze nursing activities in operating room in the daytime.
The sample of this study was selected through random sampling from the day shift nurses of operating room. And the tool of the study was observational method.
Nursing activities are divided into two parts, scrubbing and circulating, and they are classified into five items.
Nursing activities of the data included in this study were as follows;
1) Assistance of nursing services was 51.5%.
2) Scrubbing of nursing activities was 44.8% and circulating was 55.2%.
3) Direct patient care of nursing services was no more than 3.4%.
4) Professional service of nursing activities was 61.2%.
